But on Thursday afternoon, the 21-year-old toast of the recent Brit Awards showed his improvisational acumen at MTVU's Woodie Awards stage by turning the song into a playful game of follow the hook.

So it’s no surprise that the modest British boy wonder is earning high praise on both sides of the pond for his spoken-word accented tunes, which he’ll showcase at SXSW this week.

As you may or may not know Ed is going to be performing at this year's South By Southwest festival in Austin, Texas. He was featured as "One to Watch" at SXSW Festival in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram!

Ed will also be playing on March 16th at Key Bar in Austin as a part of KAMX's West of the Fest! They refer to Ed as the "flame-haired, British singer/songwriter, beatboxer, and guitarist" who "championed by everyone from the underground grime scene to American Oscar winners."
