Want Some? Ed's new album
Ed Sheeran’s second album
Want Some? was recorded at the Din Studio, Limehouse, London from October 2006 to March 2007.
Ed wrote and recorded most of the songs on the album when he was 15.
The album was produced and mixed by Julian Simmons, who also produced Ed’s first album Ed Sheeran in 2005-6. Julian has worked with various bands, including The Guillemots, Emma McGlynn and the Monorails, The High Wire and Brinkman.
Rex Horan played double bass, Jack Pollitt was on drums and Laurie Chapman wrote the piano arrangements and played piano.
Want Some? was mastered by Denis Blackham, of Skye Mastering, whose credits include mastering recordings by The Who, Led Zeppelin, Eric Clapton and Jimi Hendrix.
The Want Some? album CD cover was designed by Ed in his characteristic orange and black colours. Ed used his own handwriting for the album title and track listing, and included his signature too. The cover image is a doodle Ed made at school during a GCSE German lesson.
