Ed's First CD
Ed made his first CD,
The Orange Room EP, in March 2005 when he was 14.
It features five songs which he wrote between the ages of 11 and 13 , including Typical Average, the first song he wrote.
It was recorded over two days at Summerhill School, Leiston, Suffolk. Ed was helped in the production by the jazz guitarist Keith Krykant, who taught Ed guitar, and by Henry Readhead, who teaches music at Summerhill.
Ed sang all the vocals and played acoustic, electric and bass guitar, and drums.
The backing vocals were provided by two Japanese students at the school, Megumi Miyoshi and Hanako Asano. Megumi is now lead singer in the band Unshin whom Ed supported when they performed in 2007 at the Norwich Playhouse, and The Cut, Halesworth where he also played cello during their set.
