ED SHEERAN + - = ÷ x TOUR FAQs
In the run up to putting a tour on sale we get asked lots of questions relating to the shows and ticket sales. We’ve put together this handy guide to help you navigate your way through the process.
We are working hard to do everything we can to make sure that tickets only end up in the hands of genuine fans.
KEY THINGS TO NOTE
Find all tour information at frontiertouring.com/edsheeran
Ticketek & Ticketmaster are the only authorised ticketing agencies for Ed Sheeran's 2023 + - = ÷ x Tour.
Purchased tickets are only available to access through the ticketing agencies iOS or Android app.
To purchase accessible tickets, please contact the authorised ticketing agency.
ARE THERE AGE RESTRICTIONS FOR EACH SHOW?
All shows on the Ed Sheeran + - = ÷ x Tour 2023 are Licensed All Ages events.
This is a licensed, loud music event, staged over a long time and we do not recommend attendance by children aged 5 years and under.
Children 14 and under must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times and have purchased a valid ticket. No concession tickets will be available for children, they must have a ticket.
In the event you are looking to purchase tickets on behalf of a 15-18 year old who do not have access to a smartphone, we recommend that you attend the show with the group.
TICKETS
How can I buy Tickets?
Ed Sheeran and Frontier Touring are committed to combating unethical secondary ticketing and resale.
For the 2023 Australia & New Zealand Ed Sheeran tour we will be operating a new mobile digital app ticket sold ONLY via our approved outlets.
In preparation for on sale, we recommend that you pre-register an account with our approved outlets, details listed below, and download the relevant ticketing agency iOS or Android app.
Your mobile /smartphone will be your ticket which will be contained within an app. Once the tickets have been purchased you will receive a simple email confirmation from the ticketing agency as proof of purchase. This is NOT your
ticket or ticket(s). There is no need to be concerned that you don’t have your ticket, your confirmation is your proof of purchase.
In the Ticketek or Ticketmaster app you will be able to view a basic form of your ticket which will detail your venue, show date and seating allocation.
You will receive instructions on how to access your ticket(s) barcode closer to the date of your concert.
Upon arrival at the show, you will then be required to present your mobile smart phone device containing your ticket(s) and you’ll scan yourself and your entire party into the venue via the turnstiles/entrances.
Your party will all need to arrive together and be scanned into the venue together. The ticket purchaser must bring valid photo ID.
Accepted forms of Photo ID are
- Driver Licence or Learner Permit (from any country) including Digital Driver Licences
- Passport (from any country)
- KEYPASS Photo ID Card or Keypass in Digital iD
- KIWI Access Card (New Zealand only)
- Any other recognised Proof/Evidence of Age/Identity or Photo Card.
All Acceptable ID must be written in English or if not written in English, then accompanied by an official English translation.
For a foreign Driver Licence not written in English, an International Driver Permit issued in the foreign country of origin (and including a photo of the licence holder and translation) should be presented with the Foreign Driver
Licence.

Want to go as a bigger group/family? You will have to try to complete another order with another mobile device and a different credit/debit card.
Customers who exceed the published ticket limits may have any or all of their orders and tickets cancelled without notice.
This restriction is in place to give as many people as possible a fair chance to buy tickets. The whole party must arrive at the same time as the person with the mobile smart phone device containing all the tickets.
PLEASE NOTE that any and all transactions that are detected as bot purchases, patrons creating duplicate accounts in order to purchase more than the ticket limit or any action that indicates a suspicious purchase in excess of the ticket
limit will be cancelled.
How will I receive my tickets?
Tickets can only be accessed via Ticketek or Ticketmaster’s iOS or Android apps. Please make sure you install the correct agency app for the show(s) you wish to purchase for. Install the ticketing agency app to access
tickets. No physical tickets will be available.
We recommend you download and install the app before purchasing your ticket(s) but it can still be done after purchase.
For Ticketek and Ticketmaster you will be able to view your ticket purchase with show date, venue and seat allocation in the app, but your barcode will be blocked. The barcode will activate just prior to the show date.
I can’t go any more and need to sell my ticket. What do I do?
The reselling of any Ed Sheeran 2023 ticket is strictly forbidden other than through the official resale platform of your original point of purchase platform.
Here are the only places tickets can be resold:
Ticketek Australia here
Ticketek New Zealand here
Ticketmaster Australia & New Zealand here
Any Ed Sheeran ticket offered for resale elsewhere, either on or offline (including Viagogo, Trade Me, or any other unauthorised source including all secondary ticket retail websites and eBay, Gumtree and social media Buy Swap Swell
pages), may result in all your orders and tickets cancelled without notice to you and your ticket price refunded. The original purchaser and their party will be refused admission and any other orders and tickets they hold will also be
cancelled without notice to them and their ticket price refunded.
Note this does not limit your ability to resell your Ed Sheeran ticket for no more than 10% above the original cost to the extent such resale is expressly permitted under relevant State or Federal trading laws applicable from time
to time.
Can I get a refund or exchange my tickets?
If you change your mind, you are not entitled to a refund or exchange on purchased tickets.
I can’t find my confirmation email?
Firstly, check your email junk or spam folder.
If your confirmation is not in your junk or spam folder, contact the customer service of the ticket agent you believe you booked through. If you are unsure which ticketing agency you bought from, this is usually displayed on your credit
card statement or bank statement.
Can I buy tickets as a gift?
The matching ID of the surname of the lead booker will be an entry requirement, the other tickets bought by that person can be used for other people as long as they ALL arrive with the lead booker. If you want to buy as gifts,
then you’ll also have to attend to get your recipients into the show.
When will I receive my tickets?
Remember, we are operating a mobile digital app ticketing system. Therefore, no physical tickets will be posted or emailed in advance. Your ticketing agency app will contain your ticket.
For Ticketek and Ticketmaster you will be able to view your ticket purchase with show date, venue and seat allocation in the app, but your barcode will be blocked. The barcode will activate just prior to the show date.

TICKET SCALPING + PURCHASING RESALE TICKETS
DO NOT PURCHASE TICKETS FROM ANYWHERE OTHER THAN THE OFFICIAL TICKETING AGENCY
Examples of unauthorised outlet websites include Viagogo, The Ticket Merchant, Trade Me, eBay and Gumtree and should be avoided.
100% of Ed Sheeran tickets in Australia and New Zealand are digital and there are no physical tickets available for this tour. They therefore cannot be sold on unauthorised platforms.
Any purchases made via unauthorised outlets are considered fraudulent and will not grant you access to the shows.
If you think you have purchased tickets that are scalped, immediately contact the person or website who sold them to you. Frontier Touring or the authorised ticketing agency are not responsible for unauthorised ticket disputes.
What is unethical secondary ticketing and ticket resale?
Unethical secondary ticketing is when people buy tickets at face value and then resell them at inflated prices via non-artist approved methods and websites, thus denying real fans the chance to buy at face value.
Ticket touts and unauthorised resellers use multiple payment cards, false identities and sophisticated computer programmes (‘bots’) to buy up large amounts of tickets which they then offer for resale at highly inflated prices.
What else are you doing to combat the secondary market?
Your mobile phone number is linked to your ticket order. Your tickets are linked to both your account with the official ticket agent AND your mobile phone number. This means your ticket and the individual information you gave when
you purchased are linked. If a ticket is resold in any method other than via official resale platforms of the authorised ticketing agency, then the mobile phone number will not be linked to the ticket(s) and you will be refused entry to
the venue.
